Έγινε στο κατάμεστο απο αστέρες του Hollywood Dolby Theatre του Λος Άντζελες η 95η απονομή των βραβείων Όσκαρ με μεγάλο νικητή την ταινία «Everything Everywhere All at Once», ενώ οι ταινίες «Tar», «Fabelmans» και «Elvis», που ήταν επίσης ανάμεσα στα μεγάλα φαβορί, έφυγαν με… άδεια χέρια. 
Το φιλμ «Everything Everywhere All at Once» που ήταν το μεγάλο φαβορί σε αυτή τη βραδιά εορτασμού της 7ηςτέχνης, κατάφερε να αποσπάσει επτά Όσκαρ, μεταξύ των οποίων εκείνο της «Καλύτερης Ταινίας», αλλά και τα Όσκαρ Α’ και Β’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου.
Το κόκκινο χαλί αντικαταστάθηκε με ένα χαλί στο χρώμα της σαμπάνιας, κάτι που βάζει τέλος σε μια παράδοση 62 ετών.
